Patchouli — the aroma of love and money
Patchouli (Pogostemon cablin) is a tropical herb of the mint family, native to Asia. Its scent is earthy, woody, sweet and musky. Patchouli is known as the aroma of love and money: it has long been used as an aphrodisiac and in rituals to attract wealth. Deep and dark with a woody edge, it is a favourite base note in modern woody, floral and musky perfumes.
Masoi — sacred wood of Indonesia
Masoi is a fragrant bark related to cinnamon, prized in Indonesia as a spice and as incense. Its distinctive, sacred scent is traditionally used in Balinese healing to purify the air, and many find that it makes breathing feel lighter and easier.
How to use
- Light the tip of the stick and let it burn for a few seconds.
- Gently blow out the flame and let the fragrant smoke rise.
- Place the stick in an incense holder on a heat-proof surface.
- Air the room after burning. Never leave burning incense unattended.
