Quartz is a good conductor of energy. Its crystal lattice contains free electrons, which under the influence of external factors can move, leading to various effects. (Think of a quartz watch).
The lula is thus an ‘antenna’, as in the film Avatar. This antenna allows one to better pick up vibrations and connect with others (tsakheilu). Increases intuition.
Amethyst is a violet quartz. The violet colour is associated with the coronary chakra, its energy is directed towards communication with the cosmos, higher powers.
